Faced with many budget constraints, growing and shrinking tax base and a very dynamic environment, public sector clients turn to RWBC to provide integrated services bridging finance and construction know-how. Many of the problems faced by our clients in this sector stem from the capital development function. We are working with these clients to help them proactively manage this function by:
- Providing construction audit training to internal audit department staff of local governments.
- Organizational review of public works departments within the context of a larger county organization to identify process gaps/organizational deficiencies in their planning, design and construction processes.
- Provide construction audit services on various construction departments within a city organization and provide aggregated risk assessment of these reviews on the wider city organization’s ability to meet strategic capital objectives.
- Providing independent financial oversight of capital programs to ensure that budget and completion forecasts are adhered to.
